Steel specification: according to NIF CR-016 (Technical Specification of Supply for forged bar and tubes)
Peripheral Holes: according to NIF CR-028 (Technical Specification of Supply for peripheral bores)
Dimensions and tolerances: according to the drawings
[Documentation & Material Requirements]
1. Chemical Analysis Certificate (of each charge); 2. Ultrasonic Test Certificate ASTM A-388/80
3. Mechanical Properties Certificate; 4. Hardness Test Certificate (of each forged part)
5. Charge identification (order and item) in each forged part;
6. Grain Size Certificate (of each charge);
7. Inspection Protocol (peripheral holes for each forged tube);
Peripheral Hole Dimensional Protocol
Inspection of drilling deviations must be done by ultrasound along the length of the holes. Points A and B must be registered, where the holes are spliced, as the drilling process is done in two stages, from the face to the center of the bar.
Range of application: These forged tubes are used for making the roller on the corrugated machine..
